Collections
flat weave
Flat weave rug are likely to be the oldest type of rug quality, which is created using a simple weaving technique that provide a beautiful detailed pattern and rich colours.
Yarns are woven directly on the loom resulting in lighter, more flexible and reversible rug as the pattern comes out the same on the both sides of the rug.
These are durable, easy to move, easy to clean and versatile for any room and is the perfet laid-back layer.
These can also made in natural material such as Jute, Hemp and Sisal.
hand knotted
Hand Knotted rug are made using a technique in which the rug is woven by creating a knot on a specialised loom.
The yarn is tied by hand around the two neighbouring threads creating the knot on the surface of the rug.
This might take couple of weeks to weave a rug but the end result is worth it by far.
Each one is unique and a direct reflection of the weaver’s creativity.
hand tufted
Hand Tufted rug is not fully a handmade rug. Instead, a person use a mechanical tool called tufting gun that is used to shoot pieces of yarn through a canvas backing. The outline of the pattern is drawn on the canvas.
This rug can be made in any size as per the requirement since there is no limit of the canvas.
They contain wide ranges to patterns , easy to make in less time, and are relatively inexpensive.
hand loom
Hand Loom rugs are also called as Loom Knotted rugs as they are made using a technique in which the rug is woven by creating a knot on a specialised loom.
The yarn is tied by hand around the two neighbouring threads creating the knot on the surface of the rug.
kilim
Kilim rug are generally flat weave rug woven with slightly different patterns and style but still display the same general weaving skill.
They contain wide ranges of styles and are example of amazing craftsmanship.
These are relatively inexpensive and do not shed as much as other type of rug.
